- I thought it was a beautiful book. I never knew what was going to happen next and I didn't want the story to end because I liked the characters so much. You have written a book that others should have an opportunity to experience

.- …found your latest effort...GREAT !!! Of course I thought the "first" Corbin [Accidental Soldiers] was a wonderful story. You are becoming my favorite read. You pulled me in and would not let go, each turn caught me by surprise.

- WOW! Could not put it down.

- Finished Heroes yesterday - tears running down my cheeks. I really got drawn into that darn book and your story, and could relate to the people and the times and the veterans and the protestors and the young lovers and ...Thanks for a great read.

- Bill, your ability for story telling is off the charts!! On a scale of 1-10, I give this book a 20. When can I read your next novel?

- Well, you succeeded in really screwing up my weekend… Spent way too much time on reading “Silent Hero,” AND finished it Sunday evening! You’ve written a real page-turner--fun to read and anticipate how this  teenager could become involved in something that would lead him to prison.

- I enjoyed this book from page one. I usually do not like to know the ending the beginning.  But it was not the ending when he was writing in prison. It was a lot for a young man to go through but I shared the struggles with Glenn as the story moved through his life.  … it would be a great movie although rarely do movies do a book justice.  I would highly recommend this book.

- I just wanted you to know I enjoyed reading it!  I thought the story line was interesting and well thought out.  The characters were very "real" and engaging.   I look forward to your next book!

"Silent Hero" was the first one of your books that I read.  It was beautifully written with just the right amount of intrigue, romance, and just plain captivating.  Couldn't put it down.

- I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it.  Extended my nightly read time to finish it in two days; hard to put down.

- Very imaginative story well told. And the metaphor of America – innocence with a sense of impending disaster – leading to innocence lost, with a sense of hope – came through.
